Terms of Use

Terms that apply to visitors and B2B buyers using https://charcoal-experience.com. Commercial terms of sale are set separately, per shipment.

1. Scope

These terms govern your use of this website only. The commercial terms of any sale between PT Shisha Charcoal Factory Indonesia and a buyer — including product, price, quantity, incoterms, payment, packing, shipment, inspection, and dispute resolution — are set out exclusively in the signed Sales Contract and Proforma Invoice issued for that shipment. In case of conflict, those documents prevail over anything on this website.

2. Product information

Specifications, grades, and Certificate of Analysis values shown on this site are typical / target values for the relevant product line. The authoritative values for any given shipment are the per-lot COA issued for that shipment. Photos and packaging images are illustrative.

3. Samples and MOQ

Sample offers, minimum order quantities (currently 18 tons (one 20ft FCL container)), and lead times (21 days (new brand) for new brands, 14 days (repeat order)) are subject to confirmation at the time of order and to raw-material and container availability.

4. Pricing, currency, and incoterms

Quoted prices are in USD unless otherwise stated, valid for the period stated on the quotation, and default to FOB Tanjung Perak (IDSUB), Surabaya. Other incoterms — FOB, CIF, CNF, EXW — are available on request. Payment terms are 50% T/T advance · 50% before loading · L/C at sight, or as otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Lead times and force majeure

Lead times are estimates measured from receipt of cleared deposit or acceptable L/C. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including weather, port congestion, vessel schedule changes, container shortages, strikes, or acts of government.

6. Intellectual property

The Charcoal Experience brand, logo, product photography, videos, downloadable PDFs, and site copy are the property of PT Shisha Charcoal Factory Indonesia and may not be reproduced or republished without written permission. Buyer brand artwork remains the property of the buyer.

7. Regulatory compliance at destination

Coconut-shell charcoal is classified as UN 1361 (carbon, animal or vegetable origin), Class 4.2 dangerous goods for maritime transport. It is the buyer's responsibility to comply with all import, customs, labeling, safety, and marketing requirements in the destination country.

8. No warranty beyond the contract

To the extent permitted by law, this website is provided "as is". Product warranties are limited to those expressly stated in the Sales Contract for the shipment concerned.

9. Governing law

These website terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute arising out of use of this website shall be submitted to the competent courts of Surabaya, East Java.
